Home remodeling and additions in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire

Kitchens, baths, and rooms that the house doesn’t have yet. We remodel when the work is a real project — structure, plumbing, electrical — not a weekend punch list.

The remodels that go sideways are the ones priced off a photo. A kitchen that needs a beam, a bath that needs the joists sistered, or an addition that has to match a 90-year-old stucco texture is not the same number as new cabinets in a room that stays put.

On additions, the compliment you want from the neighbor is that they can’t see the joint. Roof pitch, eave depth, window color, and stucco finish are part of the bid. So is the temporary weather protection while the house is open.

You can stay in most houses during a kitchen or bath if we sequence the work. A full reconfiguration of the main living space is sometimes easier if you sleep somewhere else for a stretch. We’ll tell you which job you have.

Questions on this work

Can you match an older Pasadena house?

That’s the work. Stucco texture, roof, and window profiles matter more on a pre-war house than on a 2005 tract home. If the street is in a historic overlay, exterior changes can need design review even when the interior does not. We plan for that instead of discovering it at the counter.

Do you open kitchens to the living room?

Yes, when the wall isn’t doing something you still need. We look at the framing before we promise a beam and a big opening. If it needs an engineer, that happens before demolition, not after.

A phone call or the form. You’ll get a site walk and a written scope — not a number pulled out of a postcard.
